PNY Technologies Launches Limited-edition Overclocked XLR8 Graphics Board

Parsippany, N.J. - PNY Technologies Inc. has announced the availability of a new, limited-edition, overclocked (OC) XLR8 graphics card based on the Nvidia GeForce 8 series of GPUs. 
The XLR8 GeForce 8800GTX OC features overclocked core and shader clocks, as well as memory for increased graphics performance. The XLR8 GeForce 8800 GTX OC supports Microsoft DirectX 9 (DX9) and DirectX 10 (DX10) for current and next-generation PC gaming.
 
The XLR8 GeForce 8800 GTX OC by PNY Technologies features 768MB of high-speed GDDR3 frame buffer memory and a 621MHz core clock versus the standard 575MHz. The overclocked card also offers a shader clock of 1.45GHz versus 1.35GHz standard and a memory frequency of 2.0GHz versus 1.8GHz standard, providing a memory bandwidth of 96GB/sec. versus 86.4GB/sec.standard and a fill rate of 39.7 billion pixels/sec. versus 36.8 billionpixels/sec. standard. 
 
The card is available now in limited release from leading online retailers for $579.99.
 
PNY's XLR8 GeForce 8800 GTX OC runs with the PCI Express bus architecture and supports Nvidia SLI technology for up to 2x the performance of a single graphics card. Outputs include two dual link DVI-I connectors +HDTV/S-Video.
