Madrid, Spain - Next Limit Technologies has released two XSI plug-ins for RealFlow4 for Windows.
RealFlow4 users can download plug-ins for Softimage XSI Bersions 5.11 and 6.0 from the company’s download area at http://www.nextlimit.com/realflow/down_01.htm. The download file also contains a PDF file with useful notes on using the plug-in.
RealFlow4 is a tool for the simulation of fluids, water surfaces, rigid bodies, soft bodies, and meshes. It is particle-based and uses physical properties to control the behavior of the particles, which can interact with each other, and react according to impulses, forces, and accelerations.
RealFlow4 includes the Python scripting language, which enables users to program their own tools and solve certain limitations.
RealFlow is aimed at high-end users, professionals, and production studios. It is compatible with the most major 3D applications and has been used in various movie productions.
