Prime Focus Showing CLEAR Platform At NAB

LAS VEGAS — Prime Focus Technologies (www.primefocustechnologies.com) is showing its CLEAR unified content operations platform at this year’s NAB show. CLEAR is being used by one by broadcasters and news syndication organizations to digitize, manage and help monetize thousands of hours of footage.
PFT CEO, Ramki Sankaranarayanan, and other senior executives are at the show to discuss CLEAR’s innovation and enhancements, which include iPad integration, increased functionality of dashboards, adaptive streaming, automated fulfillment and HTML5 integration. The are also touting adoption by new clients such as AP and News Corporation’s Star India.    
 
PFT’s EVP of North America, Ajay Malhotra, is set to speak at the  NAB as part of a panel titled, “A/V Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production Clouds.” The event is taking place on Monday, April 16 at 1:10pm in room N232 of the North Hall at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Panelists will reveal how cloud-computing solutions are accelerating processes, improving quality, and/or reducing costs of such functions as collaboration, editing, animation, applying metadata, formatting, and transcoding.
