NAB Show’s Increasingly International Audience

The 2009 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show (www.nabshow.com) in Las Vegas continues today, with attention-grabbing keynote addresses, panels, presentations, and product demonstrations. NAB officials reveal that more than 28,000 electronic media professionals representing 166 countries traveled from outside the U.S. to attend the 2008 NAB Show, representing more than 25 percent of overall attendance. "We put global content professionals around the world in touch with solutions providers from every stage of the content lifecycle," says Chris Brown, NAB executive vice president of conventions and business operations. "The participation of international visitors is a key component and we are committed to growing the global scope of the show by delivering an international audience and remaining the global business-to-business event for the entire industry."
