Media 100 Debuts Version 12.5 at NAB 2008

Marlborough, Mass. - Media 100, a provider of advanced editing systems for the corporate, broadcast, postproduction, and new media industries, announced that Media 100 will unveil Version 12.5 at NAB 2008 in Las Vegas.
Media 100 Version 12.5 expands on the systems workflow acquisition options and finishing capabilities with support for HDV formats and multichannel audio input.
 
Feature highlights include:
- HDV Support; HDV capture through Apple native FireWire; expanding the acquisition and options for Media 100 editors.
- MultiChannel Audio Input; Users can now input and edit multiple audio tracks Media 100 Development Milestones
 
Media 100 Version 12.5 is the fifth major feature release since the acquisition of Media 100 by Boris FX in September 2005.
 
For a limited time, customers who buy Media 100 Suite or a Media 100 Platinum Software Updates agreement receive Abaltat Muse at no additional cost. Abaltat Muse ($495 USD value) enables video editors to quickly create broadcast-quality, royalty-free soundtracks that are automatically cued to the video sequence.
 
Media 100 12.5 will ship in the second quarter of 2008.
 
Customers holding valid Media 100 Platinum Software Agreements receive Version 12.5 free of charge. Media 100 HD, Media 100 HD Suite, Media 100 HDe, and Media 100 SDe customers can purchase the Media 100 Platinum Software Agreement for $895. Media 100 Producer and Media 100 Producer Suite customers can upgrade for 295.
