FilmLight Presents Blackboard 2

London - FilmLight is offering the first European presentations of Blackboard 2, its new grading control surface, at IBC, as well as the launch of Baselight 4.3, which brings new features and performance improvements to the grading software.
Automated Object-Based Tracker makes it easy to apply grades to moving objects, and the new version includes a high-productivity, multi-head UI with integrated vector scopes. Some clever performance enhancements, including powerful timeline caching and background rendering capability contribute to making Baselight more creative and more productive.

The company also introduces Baselight plug-ins for Final Cut Pro and NUKE (the latter will be seen at IBC for the first time). The company is also demonstrating how these tools empower editors and visual effects artists, and how they integrate with a main Baselight system in a flexible, collaborative production environment.

Baselight is also being used to showcase the latest Sony 4K SRMASTER file-based workflow using media captured from the new "F65" CineAlta camera, in Sony Stand 12.A10.
