Digital Domain Adjusts to COVID-19 Situation

COVID-19 came unexpectedly; the challenges, which are unprecedented, brought immense change in daily life, in our communities, and here at Digital Domain.

The health and safety of our DD family is an absolute priority for us. In response, we took swift action to adapt to the guidelines recommended by the CDC. We made major changes to our day-to-day operations to mitigate the risk to our staff, and implemented a ‘Work From Home’ (WFH) initiative across our three North American studios, to be a fully operational remote visual effects studio.

Currently, all productions are carrying on and our DDers are committed to producing the caliber of work we are known for and expected by our clients. Our teams have worked tirelessly to deploy secure software and hardware solutions that will allow all of our employees in Los Angeles, Vancouver and Montreal to work safely from home.

We’ve truly been heartened by the way DDers have banded together, at all levels of our company. And we’d like to thank our clients and studio partners working with us on the roll out of our remote WFH solution. It has been inspiring to see the entire VFX community pull together for the greater good!

You can’t plan for everything, but you can rise to the occasion. We are meeting this challenge as one. I am proud of our teams for continuing to make such incredible work, no matter what they are going through, it’s a big part of what makes DD so special. We will all get through this together!
